Wen-Ching Wu, a renowned designer, has crafted a residential space like no other with their project, Dim Light. Breaking away from traditional cabinet and layout arrangements, Dim Light connects various spatial areas through diversified elements and materials. The large area of marble materials serves as the main visual focus indoors, while the curved ceiling cornice above the public space creates an elegant emotional ambience.
The unique conservative style of Dim Light is achieved through the stacking of titanium-plated panels, stone materials, and KD veneer panels. This exquisite yet non-gaudy design approach, combined with careful color planning, offers a space that is both visually stunning and harmonious. Each step within Dim Light unveils magnificent pictures, allowing residents to explore spatial life and indulge in infinite imaginations.
Spanning 330 square meters, Dim Light is a testament to the fusion of human art and material civilization. It serves as the soul of the building, connecting people to their environment and creating a perfect blend of form and function. The hidden door panel seamlessly integrates the study and dining room, providing the flexibility for these spaces to be independent or connected as desired.
Completed in April 2020 in Taiwan, Dim Light presented several challenges that were skillfully overcome by the designer. The use of diversified elements and readjustments created a calming and harmonious ambience, offering a sense of tranquility to its inhabitants.
Dim Light has garnered recognition in the design world, receiving the prestigious Iron A' Design Award in 2021. This award is a testament to the well-designed, practical, and innovative nature of the project. It showcases the integration of industry best practices and competent technical characteristics, contributing to a better world and providing fulfillment and positive feelings to its users.
